Summary
Jayco Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2024 North Point and Pinnacle travel trailers equipped with certain GE air conditioners. The air conditioner soft start device may fail and overheat.
Consequence
An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. As an interim measure, owners should have the ICM870-16A-BH5400 soft start removed from their air conditioner. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 3, 2025. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901615.
